Project Overview: Complete Refurbishment of Hotel
& Casino after Hurricane Katrina.
The Task: To fabricate all Custom Metalwork
in 3 months,
"Being late is not an option"
Requirements: Extensive array of different types
of metals and finishes.
Special Features / Materials: From Spiral Bottle displays, Floor to
Ceiling St/stl Entrance Ways, Custom Awning brackets in both
Brass & Stainless Steel.
Curled Steel Bar Supports
Custom T.V. Chrome frames.
Unique Challenges: Various degrees of finishing, from Mirror
Polished to a Brushed Satin on Brass with A Clear Powder Coat
protective applied.
IBWorks Solutions: Prioritizing the scope of work as it
would be required, and working very closely with both the Architect
and The Millwork Contractor on the "Critical Path"
to completion. Additional work was added to the original contract
and had to be available with the rest of the work.
